The Predictions of Weather, Business and Romance
Climbing down from your latest venture.
Your clumsy feet giving the pavement a lecture.
I watched your newly planned ambitions unfold.
It’s all thrown back in your face. It’s all fools gold.
Sometimes, it rains a lot. Other days, weathermen smile.
Your eyes gleam bright. Your secrets, I cannot file.
And life marches on through the thick and the thin.
Our talks never suggest whether I’m out or I’m in.
This is irrelevant to our planet and weathermen.
I don’t revolve around you, nor am I in your ten day forecast.
That doesn’t mean it won’t ever hail. Life happens fast.
Pretend you don’t know me. Laugh like you don’t care.
One day, you’ll like me. Prove me wrong. I dare.
