It was a night of beginings, now the story come to and end
The sun had gone down
The lights were all off
All the people in the world were at home
But two lovers were out, with the night before them
It was like no other night to her
She was nervous
Scared to slip up, say the wrong things
He was quiet, dint say much
She just stared on through, trying to figure him out
They sat down and the words came out, so easily
Like she had nothing to worry about
He listened carefully; to him it was her right there.
The phone rang; the night had come to an end.
But not without a goodbye
Cuz this is where the story begins
With one kiss
Now the our love song may come to an end
But promise me boy, you won’t forget that night
