If Only Life Was Black and White
If only life was Black and White,
maybe my mind would rest
and I could move on.
If only things were Yes or No,
maybe my heart would be quiet
and I could let go.
I wish it was Black and White
but I'm stuck in this shade of Gray,
my tounge still wants to speak your name,
my eyes still search for you,
I still listen for your voice,
and wait for your embrace.
For you, it is Black and White,
I'm Nothing to you,
you were Everything to me.
You're still Something to me
and I can't just throw you away
like you threw me away.
I can't take you back,
my heart can't take it,
but I can't let you go.
I'm stuck in this shade of Gray.
If only life was Black and White.
