Fairy Tales
when tears are dried, new doors are open
a new chapter begins and you no longer cry
your past comes to you in this new chapter, and it seems like a disaster, it gets no better
you ask whatever happened to happily ever after. they say fairy tales are not real, just part of your imagination
but your life is made up of once upon a time, you only live in fear, no admiration
you relate your life to that because, because fairy tales end badly
it never comes to a stop it just increases gradually
you can no longer help to hide it from friends and peers
this opponent you can no longer fight it
it just becomes heavier tears
so new doors are open
so why not are my others closing
they drag me in further from day to day
giving up in the past i will stay
