I Lost a Friend Today
I’m wrecked
Heart broken,
Staring in awe as I see what’s in front of me,
Her body
Spread out
Scared of what may lay ahead for her,
Cold and lifeless,
She was my only friend
Now I’m without
We did everything together,
Just as much as any girls would,
We watched movies,
Painted each other’s nails,
And now I’m alone,
I lost a friend today
And her name was mine.
