Along with Beatrice
Sitting upon a cement throne
With frazzled hair
And animals on my tongue
Wet but dry
sticky toffee skin and protruding feet
looking about with lazy eyes searching for the shuffle
There she stood
Beatrice
Clad in shades of gray and stilts of pink
With milky skin and green roots
Thrown along on my chariot drawn by wild horses
