My name is Love
I am sweet and vicious.
Searching for my prey,
Every man has had to fall.
For the human heart cannot resist me.
They say I'm cold,
That I leave scars and broken pieces.
With my charming memories yet tearful eyes,
I can be a devil in disguise.
I am the flutter in your chest.
The feeling you ignore and deny.
I know no happy endings but I can make you smile.
At least, for awhile.
Once you fall, you'll fall again.
I can weaken even the strongest man.
When I depart, I scar his world.
I stab the heart and leave the blood.
Even after this, you still can’t resist.
You want stop until your last breath.
You say you'll leave me alone.
But I am every hearts home.
I come creeping into your soul.
I tap on your door, and you answer.
For I am love.
And once you find me, you will always answer.
