Pride
It’s my pride that won’t let me give in to you, or tell you that I miss you. Or give up the fight because in the end all that matters is that we’re together. It’s my pride that won’t let me apologize first, or ever take the blame for what is happening. Sometimes I blame my pride for not loving you, because all though it is true, I do love you…I just don’t love you enough to quiet that voice inside that tells me to continue that fight in order to prove I am right. So maybe I don’t love you enough, at least not enough to kill my pride.
