How We Passed the Hours
Pretend just for a little bit, what it would be like
to write a story of your own
From the reality you take for granted, and turn it to fantasy
To send yourself on a far away journey
A wonderful escape from the present
Across your newly discovered sea
You could occupy your mind
With visions of a stage
Hanging your thoughts
Those of tedious chores to save you tomorrow
This is how I may pass my hours
Which will leave them safe and sheltered
