Tempted
The chance is right there.
I'm ready to grab it.
But its too far away.
Walk past the light,
walk past the one chance I had.
To be free.
Free from all of life, hope, and failure.
Free to walk,
Grab the light,
BUT choose to stay back,
Watch myself crumble,
HURT into what i call love.
But it isn't enough.
A simple 'I love you',
Could break that chance.
but, me knowing that,
that one moment,
I thought of freedom,
you were right there,
Holding me up,
while I was falling.
I saw it.
The god welcoming me.
I saw it.
The father i once knew.
I felt it.
My heart, My fate, My future, My love and My life.
There is no stopping the pain.
the pain it left for me to find.
The joke it played on me.
The fire burned, Burned hard.
Until...
Nothing...
Nothing out there,
And no one even bother asking..
Why?
