The Release
A mother’s agony, as she silently cries,
The unbearable torture, you can see in her eyes.
The pain and misery, desperately shows,
And when the time will pass, nobody knows.
Her hands are sore, from fighting this battle,
Losing this war, losing this struggle.
Her grip becomes weaker, she can hold no more,
Her heart loses the leverage, hands still sore.
She thinks to herself, what she did wrong,
Over and over again, what went wrong.
Her hands still weaken, she begins to pray,
“God give me strength.” She begins to say.
Just one drop of sweat, could end his life,
Losing her grip, that was no longer tight.
She prays again, and then once more,
Her strength was gone, losing this war.
She lets go.
Now she is left, with dread in her heart,
The thought of a second, ripped her apart.
The pain and misery, still desperately shows,
And when the time will pass, nobody will know.
