When I Die
When I die power my skin with snow
paint my lips with blood
bind my hair in braids.
Cloth me in satin black as night
lie me down on a bed of silk
surround me with red, red roses
then Barrie me under the light of the full moon.
Bless the goddess for my life
then pause in silence…
listen…
listen hard…
listen for my last howl.
Shed a tear if you must…
then whisper…
whisper fare the well…
fare the well…
fare the well wolf.

Beautiful, slightly macabre, and it did make me think of that song. Nice poem.
