Haunting Nightmare
I looked at you
From across the room,
You looked just fine,
Just like you we’re sleeping,
If only I would have known,
Only listened to that feeling
But no,
I just sat there in ignorance.
You we’re still snoring when I went to bed
But yet, the nagging feeling in my stomach told me something was wrong
I ignored it and went to bed,
Only to wake up in the morning to you,
Dead.
I went over to you and shook you slightly to try and wake you up,
When I touched you,
You we’re as cold as ice,
As hard as a boulder
And I cried,
For a long time,
I wish you we’re still here….
To tell me what to do,
What you wanted,
I miss you so much….
I wish I could have said goodbye…
