Just One Look
Every person has their own past,
present and future.
Their own stories to tell,
And crosses to bear.
They're not just another body in the world.
They are people, with feelings and thoughts.
Yet, I see them
And automatically categorize them in my mind.
A gangster, a nerd.
A jerk, an idiot.
Just one look and I've got them pinned.
And more often then not,
I find my self wondering.
What's their story?
How'd they get here and where are they going?
Questions I can't find the answer two with just one glance.
