I AM FROM
I am from tricycles
From bouncy balls that I used for destruction
and logos for my pigsty.
I am from a messy house that mother would beg to not have to maintain,
but does anyway.
I am from a one and only sunflower in the front yard
that grows and stands alone.
I am from video games and RPG’s
From James and Cassandra
I am from smokers and survivors
From pain causers and healers
I am from John 3:16
I am from those moments when the bitter darkness can go ahead and take over,
AND I’D STILL BE SMILING
