I AM poem
I am strange, but kind hearted.
I wonder if people notice that second one.
I hear the Chinese song “Nyan Nyan” stuck in my head.
I see my sister, my youth group leader, and I jamming out in church.
I want to learn Japanese.
I am strange, but kind hearted.
I pretend to be calm, when I’m excited.
I feel an aura of hate around this school with just bits of love and learning.
I worry about my future and the dreams I chase.
I cry when those dreams are stomped on.
I am strange, but kind hearted.
I understand what other are going through.
I will proudly proclaim “I am Christian!”
I dream to go to Japan.
I try to do my best.
I hope I can accomplish what’s expected of me.
I am strange, but kind hearted.
