"The City"
The city noises become louder as you grow nearer.
The cars are honking with impatience, the engines running with the anticipation of moving forward.
The people in the shops are yelling, trying to sell their merchandise.
The smell of food is so strong it causes your mouth to water.
The smell of food tempts you to try some.
You glance around for a good look at your surroundings.
The skyscrapers and other buildings tower over you, as if they appear to be challenging you.
Their height shows you the power and secrets they hold with them.
The city is bustling with people, crowds and crowds of them.
There are cars everywhere, covering every street.
There are shops, some big some small, eagerly greeting customs in.
During the day the bright sunlight illuminates the city.
It seems as if to bounce off the skyscrapers.
And at night a dark shadow captures the city.
The moon hardly gives any light.
All you can see are lights of all the buildings.
It is as if the city is putting on a light show in the darkness of the forbidding night
