Best-Friends
She looks okay, to the naked eye.
But can't you see?
Past all of her laughter, and her smiles.
Past all of her happiness; she cries.
All alone but surrounded by a crowd;
She whispers a name.
Without this one person she just isn't the same.
Her world is dark; her heart in pain.
All because of 'whatsername'
Words were spoken and overdone
Gone were all that should have been
Apart they sit in separate worlds,
lonely feel these two little girls.
Their smiles last a tiny bit
So does their meaningless laughter,
but in the end,
life is always incomplete,
without my other half,
without my best friend..
