One Night A Year
They wake up from eternal rest
To find the world we currently hold
They dress like us, they talk like us
They walk among us as equals
For one night, they can be themselves
Slimy, creepy, evil, bloody
Some may even take your body
Or your friend’s or your brother’s
Who is safe? No one is
Bones will rattle, blood will shed
On this one night, they wait for all year
Is it really all fun and games? No
People will get hurt if you are not careful
On this hallowed night called Halloween
