Battle of the Seasons
Diana, I was eager for her to leave me
Leave not but a sliver of light if she must
And the spectral shadow of her burdens would
Be gone, the woes elsewhere
I wanted the coolness of her touch
Her frigid, manipulating fingers and throaty moans
To escape this place of blooming hydrangea and
Peas, yes she must hunt across the range for the morrow
I want to jump up on a chariot of flames and leave her
Silver gleam forever, only to be blinded once more
Her dogs cut my eyes and darkness came
Irresistible darkness, but if I must not see again, please let it be fire that take it away
And once Diana leaves, she may take her lethal arrows too,
I will become brothers will the light and we will share
Our joy at how the jay warbles once more, the flowers release their pungent
Perfume once more, and the world starts living again
