Let Me Go
Time has kept moving,
But it's left behind.
I've been stuck inbetween days,
In a space where I can only cry.
I always feel the pain,
It's the only thing that's real.
But with every tear that falls,
Your memory is imprinted in it.
I have watched you fade away,
And I've carried the pain for so long.
But how long is too long?
I don't know when to say "enough".
And even when I huddle in the darkness,
Feeling as though I am finally safe.
I feel your icy coldness cloud around,
And out of the black, I see your face.
