Living My Life for You
Living My Life for You
I give you my life, my all.
Every breath I breathe, I breathe for you
You see all I do good and bad
Like a surveillance camera in a store
Watching my every move
Even though you know all of my sins
Your love still reaches out for me
Never ending love and forgiveness
Love I don’t deserve
Yet I receive
Because you gave the life of your only son,
To die a brutal death upon the cross
All for the sake of my sins
Day in and day out I still sin
And you forgive all of my sins
My arms rise in praise toward you
Lifting up your holy, and gracious name
They have gone numb
That’s nothing compared to the holy spirit inside of me
Shivers and tingles fill my body
A feeling like no other
Full of joy, happiness, and refuge
Knowing that no matter what I have,
You as my rock
My life is far from perfect
More like a wreck
In you I am made new
Washed clean, as if I were a dirty shirt worn by a three year old
Trials will test me; they try to bring me down
But as long as I live
I am living my life for you
