Lost Love
Shattered dreams
A broken heart
A mysterious past
A broken history
Can it be solved?
Can he be found?
Will she survive?
Will they find each other?
Their love
Was from since birth
They loved
Each other deeply
But their past
Was rough
Their elven history
Was the same
Humans watched them
Since birth
Dead in winter night
They kidnapped him
He will be wanted
They near fatally hurt her
She was worth it
Bathed in complete confusion
They grew apart
But everyday
They thought
Of each other
They each took
No other mate
They grew apart
From friends
And family
He was raised
As human
Them, making
Him forget his
Elven world
She healed
The wound scaring her body
And heart
Still their love
Was deep
She forgot of
Her elven world
And searched for her love
Disguised as
Human she
Looked for him
Hoping against hope
He thought of her
Every day
He tried to
Remember her touch
But failed
Still he loved her
He worked as a human
Knowing their ways
He looked more human
He wanted her love back
His name wasn’t
Elven anymore
They made him
Hardly remember it
They gave him
A human name
She searched for
Her love
She didn’t know
These humans
They frightened her
But she wanted
Her love back
Months did pass
And she continued
To search
Hope was still there
But it was thinning
He thought
He was going crazy
His mental break
Must’ve snapped
He was seeing her
He wanted to
Call out to her
To yell her name
And pull her in his arms
To remember
His love
She was pretty sure
That was him
Her love
He watched her
Carefully, as if
He was unsure
Of her
He looked human
Not purely human
But more then enough
To get by
But his eyes
She knew they never changed
Yes, that was him
After all
The eyes never changed
He did watch her
Mostly everyday
He saw her
Yes, that was her
The eyes told him so
Days past
And she didn’t show herself
To him
She watched him,
Wondering if
He remembered her
He was at work
With the swords
When he felt
A feeling, a presence
Behind him
She went behind him
Her heart raced
Could it be him?
Less then a whisper
She said his elven name
He turned other,
Saying hers back
They smiled an embraced
Each love found
The connection restored
