Serenity
Ashes to the floor,
Silken petals,
On which I lay.
Keeping me from the edge
Holding me hostage,
This exotic serenity
I need not understand
Everything there is and to be
In this unknown place
The peaceful serenity
Where clouds take no form
And ashes fall to the floor
The night sky as clear as glistening waters
The moon aquaints the stars
And all is silent
In this secret serenity
Where there is no need to fret
Nor worry
My mind is whisked away
Away from the earth
Ad I am at peace with my freedom
Silken rose petals,
On which I lay
There is no night or day
Time is nonexistent
As well as my fears
For I am fulfilled
In this unknown place
This exotic serenity.
