Eggs Protected
My family is a nest of birds.
Mother and father are the brave protective birds,
Well my sister and I are the protected eggs.
Protected from the dangers of the world,
In a safe, cramped nest.
Well dreams fade fade day to day,
In the protective eggs.
Will we get out chance to shine?
Will we become something,
Or will we stay behind the egg shell in the nest forever,
Never getting our chance to shine
Here we are in the nest,
Being suffocated by the protection or mother and father
Will our chance come tomorrow,
Or be buried in a locked box with no key?
Here mother and father come.
Here goes another day of hopes and dreams
Down though the hole in the nest,
That seems to grow everyday our hopes fade.
