Green Eyed Monster

A synonym for love is weak.
There is no doubt about it.
Like a splintered creek,
the way of life takes a hit.
Frail because of love,
I am green eyed in both ways.
Bound like a wingless dove,
inside I bleed green for days.
Green is a synonym for envious,
my eyes are green.
I only wish death could witness,
life is just plain mean.
Death is hate,
love is late.
A synonym for me is:
the green eyed monster.
I will never be a “Mrs."
because I’ll never make it to the alter.
