Hoarding the dark
Turmoil boils over
powers collide for reasons they won't let you know
Now you lay and ponder
face it, you know rest shall never arrive
explosions surround you
still you lay
may may flutter
eyes may shut
but the sergeants voice blows
Awakening from the trench of muck
for every second that passes you by
someone falls
into eternal slumber
green eyed with envy
what silences they keep
their faces frozen on a thought
rain pounds heavy
Upon your feeble soul
faded fast the obligation
wonder, worry, whisper
hidden hopes on the horizon
Fate's fortune, can only so long shine
Coming quick the collaboration
Despite a Comrade's command
Collapse for sanity's sake
