For Nothing
for nothing can I claim right to your troubled mind:
for no claim of blood have I,
for no claim of heart have I,
for no claim of promise have I;
yet my troubled mind claims such logical fallacies
that I have not the power, nor the right, to answer
for those who have a claim keep my inquiries silent under rightful gazes;
seconds fall away into the bottomless distance
when distance was oceans, and seconds were timeless
and time was so memorable, but memories landed and were forgotten;
for nothing can I claim right to your troubled mind
but you have claimed such right to trouble mine.
