Writing Utensils
Some advocate pencils
For they allow perfection
You can't take back words said
But you can erase those written
Some would employ that logic
To promote the use of ink
In reality the past is gone
So before you write, think
Others say pens
Because they show humanity
Accept and embrace error
Acknowledge our mortality
Personally, I'm a fan of
Pencil sketches coated in
Super fine Sharpie then
Filled in with fresh crayons
Because then it's perfect
As well as permanent
And it's colorful, not smudgeable
And youthful to its core
