What My Heart Speaks
I want to write about you
With words that calm the soul
But pierce the heart
As you do to me
I'm obsessed, depressed
Crying in the dark to songs with bitter words from the bitter world that I'm becoming a part of
With chills down my spine, I'm bled dry of any passion I had left
Cold, alone, forever waiting for an impossible something
Maybe I let you go when I should have held on
But I didn't know that you wanted me
You had me, but now you're gone
If only you could hear my cries at night
You would know that I adore you
If only you would look in my eyes
Look towards me for just one moment
You would know that I'm suffocated by you
Until the day that I'm gone too
