Those beautiful eyes stared back at me, showing me that I was truly was in love with a real being; not just a teenage boy, but an actual, down to earth person who knew and understood who I was, and what mistakes I had made. I was in love with my best friend, and it was probably the easiest thing I’d ever done --- yet it was more like effortless, since I knew that, after all we had been through, his lips would give me the strength to get back up and smile.
