One Wish
If I had to make one wish,
Just one,
It would be that the hands of time wouldn't pull us apart.
They wouldn't make me grow to dislike your every move.
They wouldn't make me let go of your hand.
Because your mine.
As cheesy as it sounds, you are my wish come true.
Your not a prince or a knight in shinning armor,
Because those are fake.
You are more real than anything I could've ever hoped that I'd someday be able to call mine.
You're flawed.
Your loud, cocky, arrogent.
Your too far away, your job isn't worth anyones time and you have a bad past.
But your mine.
Wish my wish upon a star that I always whispered to at night as a young girl.
Your my blown dandelion, wishing upon every petal as it floats away.
Your just simply my wish that I hope will never fade,
Never dull.
Because right here, and right now,
It's my everything.
