So I leave
I fall down to my knees
My breath in haste I get cut and I bleed
Into the earth my blood I share reflect my face so I stare
Down at my eyes in a daze so I press my body in the ground and I lay
I reminisce about my past days and think of what to say
To my family that don’t see
My eyes as they cry and my mouth that feed them lies
Telling them its alright
That tears are of joy
That they have brought to my world
But I hide behind walls
That I build to get away
From their face
Of disappointment in their eyes
And those unsaid words that split us apart
So I leave
With bleeding feet
