I hear the scream,
Rip through the corridor,
And echo in the room.

I hear the scream,
And cries for help,
To stop,
To go.

I hear the scream,
In one quiet moment,
Then people continue their day

I hear the scream,
And react, turning my head.
No one else turns,
No one else cares,
I am the only one who heard.
They will continue their boring lives not hearing
The scream that ripped through my soul.

The author's comments:
I heard a scream echo through the halls from my math room, and thus "The Scream" was born!

I like the way you describe this and how you tell us how it affects you and how you twisted the visual of it all at the end was unique! Great job! 5/5 :)

Even in our Darkest hour, we must always remember never to spare.

Nice job of twisting the visuals.

It's sad how true this is... somebody screams for help, or an old lady drops her bag. The world moves on around them, ignoring them, knowing somebody else will do it. Now, on to the poem... I really like how the lines seem abrupt, and how you describe the character looking around for the source, while everybody else sits stone still. Great word pictures, if a bit jerky with the rhythm.

I like the discripton. The way you discribe the scream and the effect it had on you. :)
