Time is Ticking MAG
Time is ticking and licking each second into nothing
Each fleeting moment tastes sweeter as it melts on the tip of my tongue
swiftly transforming from something I'm doing into something I've just done
Like déja vu, comment t'appelles tu?
Because I think I've seen you before and I'll probably see you once more
This all so confusing I feel like I'm always losing
Losing time, losing my mind, losing you
I am waiting, and waiting always waiting
For the hands of father time to stop spinning
Waiting for the minute hand to hold my hand for just a minute
Waiting for the hour hand to point to some sort of sign that says everything is ours
Waiting for time to bring me the past and the future in a neatly wrapped present
So I can open it up and see if there ever was, or ever will be
Something real something true between you and me
I feel it pulling me unraveling me so strong like gravity
But so short such brevity in an instant it's letting me go
And I am going, and going. And now I'm gone
Before I can even ask what went wrong
The hour hand waves so long
And I'm still stuck waiting contemplating and debating
Wondering if all this waiting is exacerbating
And perhaps I should be more like time, because time waits for no one
Maybe life is more exhilarating when you skip all the waiting and you're always on the run
