My Worst Enemy

I hate you.
I despise your presence.
You think you can do anything you want.
Well honey, you are wrong.

Haven’t you heard?
Actions speak louder than words.
I guess you couldn’t hear,
Behind your mouth constantly running with mindless chatter.

Why are you smiling?
It must be great to get everything you want.
I wish you would try feeling the rollercoaster of emotions I’ve felt,
But twice as worse.

Why should you hold your head up high?
You do not deserve to.
You have done nothing to be proud of,
Or for others to be proud of you for.

Why do you care about your appearance so much?
It’s pathetic how the approval of others matters so much to you.
You did not even earn the money you waste on it.
So how could you value it at all?

Now I hate to say I hate you,
Knowing that we’re not different at all.
In fact, you’re my reflection,
Off the mirror on the wall
