Lyrical Love
Death gives way to new life.
Words turn into songs, turning this world upside down.
Transforming all that we know into liquidy lava that flows away,
Causing destruction in it’s path, breaking homes and hearts.
The chords blow the top of the mountain, the bass line billows out in a smoky ash,
While the melody sprinkles down in little fiery flames.
The flames burn the water, the silence is so loud, the darkness so clear, the nothingness so real.
Eyes open wide, to an epiphany of hope, a new blank sheet,
Billowing out the school window, scrawled with the tiniest “I love You.”
