The sun lounges on a
Permeable couch of clouds,
Light leaking through the cracks
Like the soda can that was left
Upended on your tattered
Old armchair that smells of
Rain and popcorn,
A safe memory catcher
In the midst of the city
That never stops long enough
To feel the rays
That drip through the gaps
Of the clouds tumbling over each other
In a sky
That smells of rain and popcorn
