Willow Weeps
I wish that I could be
Like the greatest willow tree
Branches sweeping wide
In hopes to match your stride
Like the tree though, I am still
Even with the greatest will
I am here and you are there
Yet I know that you still care
Like the willow, I still weep
Though these tears help to not keep
All the sadness bottled up inside
I can take this all in stride
Tears are not always from despair
Now don't you all just stop, pause and stare
Tears can be from happiness
Not just painful, pent-up stress
These tears from love, and joy and hope
Make it so I do not mope
Droplets help this willow so
So that it may forever grow
