I Could Write

I could write about the way
The clouds raced across the sky,
Or the way we stood for years for all of 60 seconds
Looking at each other.
I could write about the
Gentle caress of pen on paper,
The elegant curve of your neck,
The sound the tear-stained handkerchief made as
It fell to the station floor.
I could write about the wind,
Or the rain,
Or love, or pain;
But more importantly,
I just did.
