Eagle Wings

Silver wings; strong and might.
Nature’s most majestic
soon takes flight.
Golden orbs in the place of eyes,
searching low like piercing spies.
Easy prey crawls along
and the hunter sings his song.
A screeching call deadens the ears
of the prey like jagged spears.
Swooping down, gliding on air.
This monster with wings,
was never fair.
He snatched up the mouse
not a moment to spare.
Greedy mind and greedy soul,
in the heat of the moment,
The heart will show.
