Only One
Whispering away a silent dreary.
A hushed kiss muffled in an amphitheatre of lies
With this I ordain my heart to stifled cries
Forever abound by this fear
Feeling the crash of regret with every glance
Staccatos in the revelation is all you'll ever hear
Petrified, though moved in my lies, I dance
I fancy myself hidden, though my desire is quite bare:
A blissful kiss, a tantalizing brush of hands, but to pat your hair...
Any of these things I would give the world for
If only you could hear the shadows
You could breathe life anew as only you could; only you I adore
Race my pulse and chase away my sorrows
I dare you taste of my lips
I dare you turn away from there
I dare you put your hand on my hips
I dare you feel the way I sway from the way my heart blares
I DARE YOU only give me a second
Because, I know, from there only to me you'll beckon.
