Homophobes
There are those who laugh at my sexuality,
choosing to oppress my individuality
labeling me a queer to be
despised throughout society,
I used to fear
being queer,
giving in to the hate of the straight
men of my age,
never able to gauge
the beauty of who
i was, nothing to do
but resign to the fate
they had chosen to designate,
so they thrive
off the pleasure they derive
from the pain
as they chain
me to the wall,
trying to make me fall
into the snare
as i try to fly into the air,
I’m done caring what other
people think, why should i bother
to impress
people who cause me more stress,
honestly i hate that straight
guys can harass gay guys in this state
and make them quit school,
because they think they’re so cool,
and that were a bunch of faggots,
when they’re a bunch of bigots
who can’t get a life and need to shut
up because we didn’t choose to be this way so butt
out of ours, so we don’t make ourselves cease
to exist and can live in peace
