Words mean more
Say the words
Again, over and over. Endless repeat
Ever thought, how they weigh
Against the grain of others compassion
If you, skinner by the clock’s passing hour
Vibrant locks of fire which dance
Pale ivory smoothes the surface
Delicate beauty, somehow unknown
Measure up not by society
But by difference being
Compared to I
Thunder steps echo,
Destroying sense of self
Blemish soul, as well skin
Scars illuminate sharing secrets
To which never admit
Muddied eyes water
Ever thought, how they weigh
Against mine view
If you, undesirable
I must become, the dirt beneath
Lowest form of existence
Never to believe, in longing
In love, in lust
Alone
