Love That Would, Love That Wouldn't
A question asked
A Question received
“Will you continue?”
“Will you believe?”
I could and I would
He said
I would die just to try
He said
He would die to try
And he would’ve if he could’ve
Could but he couldn’t
He said he’d try, but he wouldn’t
The price must have been to high
He must have wanted to escape
Alive
Again and again they came
Dying just to try
And escaping
Once again alive
One last came as the day was growing old
And He to tried
Vowed he did, “To make her mine”
He would and he could
And he stayed alive
He did not escape
He walked away with the prize
