Poem of Questions
Do you see what I see?
Do you hear what I hear?
Do you know what scares me?
Do you know what I fear?
Am I invisible?
Does no one know?
There’s a lot more than what’s spoken
A lot more than I show?
Can anyone see what I feel?
Can anyone know my pain?
Is it too hidden to know?
Is it too bare and plain?
Will I ever be what I want again?
Will freedom ever touch my heart?
Will I ever smile again?
Will I ever start?
If it hurts so much
Then why do I take it?
If I don’t like my bondage
Why don’t I break it?
This is a poem
Not very well written
I wrote it right here
Where I’m still sittin’
