Opened Eyes
By avoiding the truth, I became blind
I told myself “after the storm appeared the sunshine”
But for some reason, the rain never left my side
I never stopped giving you a reason to keep being mine
You decieved me by using your smile and laugh
And I never really bothered trying to look back
But then you left me with my heart in half
And I realized honesty is something you lack
While pacing my memories searching where I went wrong
I asked myself “could it be, was it me?”
I tortured myself bearing the sorrow tool long
But I did find someone who opened my eyes and let me see
Everything I did, you blew up in my face
But now for this next certain someone, nothing is going to waste.
