Well, What About Now?
Much time has passed since I held you last.
Are we to leave it all in the past?
Or will we be reunited at last?
I was lustful, i lacked stability,
inner tranquility,
I didn't have the time to tell you my house didn't have utilities...
I couldn’t tell you how much you meant to me..
I just want to tell you that you became a bittersweet memory...
I could feel your body spark aflame whenever we touched
You held back when we kissed, but I know what you want...
We carried the weight of two separate worlds on us
Maybe now these are now much happier times upon us?
I left you at my school, with thoughts of how you left me.
You left me self-conscious and depleted of energy.
You took away my brief little light...
and darkness consumed me with no help in sight...
I poured such feelings into another love,
my true girlfriend, who always gives me love
She let me take advantage of her
so i could get over you
That girlfriend was Poetry
but my real ambition is you...
