Life isn't fair
Make up and shoes,
Nails and clothes,
Fill my world,
Never mind those,
Who have no food,
Or live in a box.
Forgotten and cast off,
Or beaten with rocks.
Those with cancer,
And those who are raped.
Those who were stabbed,
And never escaped.
Because whether or not,
I understand or care,
It’s the pure and simple truth,
Life isn’t fair.
