Jagged mist chained
as birds are to the sky,
consuming
a dreamer.
Looking
into the bleak shadows
of reality.
The glass pane
sh
a
tt
ers
as the innocent wanders.
Thunder
rolls to the beat
of an envious predator.
Step.
Silence.
A blurred refection,
a fading memory.
A dream,
I wish I could be.
Bittersweet simplicity.
